LHDK&W successfully represented 11 respondents named in a complaint filed under Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 before the United States International Trade Commission (ITC). The complaint, initiated by a Georgia-based beauty supply company, named more than 30 respondents located across New York, New Jersey, California, and Georgia.
Serving as discovery counsel throughout the proceeding, LHDK&W worked closely with trial counsel to coordinate and manage complex discovery issues efficiently and effectively across multiple jurisdictions. Leveraging its sophisticated discovery management capabilities and deep understanding of ITC procedures, the Firm played a key role in achieving a favorable outcome; the investigation was terminated following the complainant’s withdrawal of the complaint.
The LHDK&W discovery team was led by partner David Cho, with substantial assistance from Sung Choi and Joseph Park.
