Joseph S. Park

Joseph S. Park is a Special Counsel in the firm’s Los Angeles office where he handles both transactional and litigation matters. Mr. Park’s experience includes white collar criminal defense including antitrust related matters, internal investigations, discovery and forensic reviews, contract negotiations and reviews, estate planning, and finance.

Prior to his legal practice, Mr. Park had an extensive career in consulting, auditing, and risk management in professional services firms including Deloitte & Touche LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and Arthur Andersen LLP and public utility companies including Pacific Gas & Electric Company and Southern California Edison.

While in law school, Mr. Park was a judicial extern for the Hon. Harvey A. Silberman in the Los Angeles Superior Court, the California Department of Justice, and the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Mr. Park is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of California with an experience in reviewing, auditing, and analyzing financial statements and advising clients on accounting and internal control matters. In addition, he is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP).

Mr. Park is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the District of Columbia. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California.

• - Representation of individuals and companies in matters being investigated by the Department of Justice’s Criminal and Civil Divisions.
• - Representation of an administrator in a religious organization charged with an international conspiracy to commit various offenses, securing all charges dismissed except for conspiracy to commit visa fraud with time-served sentence imposed.
• - Post M&E integration of supplier agreements for a nationwide healthcare system.
• - Representation of a nationwide mortgage lender in a civil dispute.
• - Compliance and contractual matters for a major Korean entertainment company hosting an annual convention and award ceremonies.
• - Corporate advisory matters for an electric vehicle chargers subsidiary of a Korean conglomerate.
• - Representation of an international real estate development company in a contractual dispute providing forensic financial and legal analysis.
